When it comes to fashion, creativity is the key.
To create is not only the act and the "job" of the stylist... It also relies on your very own eye...on what you see, on what you surround yourself with, on what you want to communicate and on who crosses your path.
Sometimes it's about an image you sight in a magazine, sometimes it's the cool girl walking down the street... Truly, you never know.
But what you know it's that inspiration strickes you  suddenly and in so many different ways that life has a total different flavor.
In Support Of is a bit of all of this. It's a strike at the heart, it's a daily inspiration, it's a refreshing window on the world of fashion.
Born as a multi-label, Meatpacking District specialty boutique, the store features independent, young designers, with the goal of bringing inspiring talent to the forefront while supporting charities and causes considered important.
The founders, the lovely Tanya Sheikh & Ivan Gilkes opened their boutique in 2014 in a cool brick and mortar shop, located at 342 W 13th street.
Here their immaculate and stylish haven welcomes you in the most graceful of the ways.
As soon as you step in the store wide palette of colors and prints will fill your gaze.
Pieces showcased are both wearable and innovative while lines are pure and clear.
Garments are constructed with quality materials and embody a tastefully modern look.
In Support Of will make you appreciate the difference between 'fast fashion' and 'low speed' manufactured clothing. Please, stop by the store if you are in the area... Sometimes we all just need some slowness in the speediness of the City...
Have fun! The Hedonist.

Store Location: 342 West 13th Street, New York, NY.

"... Say Something Sexy..."
" ...Never Fully Dressed..."

This is the first thing that comes up to our mind when we think about this relatively young English brand.
Lines are crystal clear, effortlessly chic and the tailoring soft and feminine with just the right touch of androgyny.
The lucky lady behind this Maison de Mode ( you should definitely keep your eye on) is Lucy, a gypsy traveller with East End roots.
Born to a soulful music dad and a hard working/ hard partying mother, Lucy has been raised in a world made of artistic waywardness and stubbornly strong morals... Go, girl, go! That's what we like here at the Hedonist!
Lucy not only has great eye for fashion, she also combined it with great heart for humanitarian causes... Hey... we like you more and more!
So this is the first fashion brand that praises itself not to be really into fashion... In an industry where people, places and projects can easily be a little too indulgent, Lucy's heart lies in working with as wide charitable as possible.
Among the many projects: in 2010 she sold jewelry to 100% fund the building of a school and a water well for Oh So Welcoming Community and underprivileged kids of Moshi, Tanzania, all in association with ChildReach International.
This year she used profits to sponsor homeless children in Uganda, support the building of a complete water system through Eastern Africa as well as supporting the crisis in the Philippines.
Currently she is selling the BOOB T and HONEY T to raise money for MIND Charity and Alzheimer's research.
Her motto is Let's make giving a fashion that never goes out of fashion!... And with a motto like this... who can resist you??? Come on ladies, let's shop!
